NEW STAND FOR TESTING STARTER-GENERATORS SG-21, SG-18, SG-10

Mechatronica-Pro presents new product - Test stand, designed for carrying out acceptance and predelivery tests of starter-generators SG-21-1C T, SG-18-1C, SG-10-1C (hereinafter SG) according to Russian state standards GOST P  8.568-2017, GOST RV 0008-002-2013. In addition, a version is available that provides also periodic tests of these SGs, including tests in the heat chamber (tests for the effects of working elevated temperature).

The test stand consists of a control cabinet and an electromechanical load aggregate. The tests are carried out in the starter mode and in the generator mode on the same equipment with one installation of the test SG on one stand.

The test stand allows you to test the SG in the following modes:

–starter;

–generator;

–electric motor for no-load conditions.

The stand has remote and local control. Local control is carried out using controls located on the doors of the control cabinet. Remote control is fulfilled by means of a computer.

The test bench in the automated mode maintains the specified parameters. In the course of the operation, the tester’s actions are recorded and the test parameters are archived every 1 s.

The following values are displayed on the verified devices located on the doors of the control cabinet:

–current in excitation winding;

–current in armature;

–armature voltage;

–torque on the shaft;

–shaft speed.

In addition, the housing temperature and the level of vibration of SG are controlled.
